I Deleted My Facebook Account

After many years of unsettling interactions that have not benefited me but alienated me from the people I’ve been trying to connect to, I have decided to delete my account. Facebook continued to interfere with my feed by blocking the content sent by friends for no reason. I care not to report with the evidence as someone else can show the same thing if they look hard enough at their feed and the content that their friends post. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what is being blocked. In my case it was 70% of my friends submitted content were replaced with ads. One scroll of 10 sponsored and promoted ads before I could see anything from anyone I know.

My accusations against Facebook stand and I will not accept anything from them in response.  As it is, they should cut their losses and shut it down. Yes it will be disruptive but something new and better will come along and replace it in record time due to the need and the demand for clear communication sharing.  Meta has clearly left Facebook in the dust pursuing other useless ideas like the “metaverse”.

Sorry Facebook, but there is not anything you can do to repair this unless you shut it down but you won’t because it is a source of deceptive ad revenue for you, as I mentioned before, nothing but ads and sponsored content. Goodbye Facebook and good riddance.
